Sidebar - alert version

The sidebar alert version is mainly designed for standard pages but can be used with promo pages and new stories.

Unlike the standard sidebar, it sits above the main content on mobile.

Use cases

• Bringing attention to an important change of service
• Bringing attention to a temporary issue

It should only be used a temporary measure.

The sidebar must be shorter than the main content.

Changeable elements

• The colour of the side-border and the exclamation mark, though these will be the council's default magenta, unless another colour scheme has been approved by design. The background colour is not changeable
