Filterable content

When we have very long lists, functionality can be added to make the list filterable by a search term, as in these examples:

• Health and safety manual
• Southampton's fallen heroes
• Agents directory

This filter functionality can also be added to tables:

• Our collections (list of mayors)

Content can also be revealed or hidden by the use of buttons:

• Pay your Council Tax

However, careful consideration must be given to hiding content, as it may perform poorer in Google searches.
