Using funding from Department for Transport and working in partnership between Southampton City Council, Hampshire County Council, Bluestar and First Solent, we are delivering a more affordable, more reliable and more sustainable bus service in the Southampton City Region.

With new bus hubs and better bus stops

In Southampton, Totton and Eastleigh we have been making significant improvements to bus stops by making them more accessible, safer and providing information. In Southampton the new hub at Albion Place has opened and there is a welcoming gateway to Southampton and interchange with buses at Southampton Central station:

Southampton City Council, working with Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Isle of Wight Council under the Solent Transport brand have created a comprehensive travel app that show you the quickest, cheapest, and most eco-friendly options for the journey you want to take.
