Suburban car park season ticket
For anyone wishing to park in selected suburban car parks in the city centre. The season ticket is valid in the following car parks:
- Angel Crescent
- Cannon Street
- Colonnade
- Howard Grove
- Lances Hill
- Marlborough Road North
- Marlborough Road South
- Peartree Gardens
- Oakbank Road
- Portsmouth Road
- Westridge Road
- Whites Road
How many season tickets can I apply for?
The number of season tickets per household is not restricted and up to two registration numbers can be added to the season ticket. However, the season ticket can only be used for one of the nominated vehicles at any time.
Guidance
The season ticket must be displayed behind the front windscreen so it can be clearly and entirely seen from the front of the vehicle. The season ticket is only valid when used in the nominated vehicle, details of which will be printed on the Season Ticket.
It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is parked wholly within a marked parking bay. The issue of a Season Ticket does not guarantee the holder a parking space.
Your vehicle must also:
- Not exceed five metres in length
- Not weigh more than 3.5 tonnes
- Not be adapted to carry more than eight passengers, excluding the driver (not drawing a trailer)
Cost for the season ticket
- Valid for six months costs £340
- Valid for 12 months costs £650
Apply for a suburban car park season ticket
You will need
- A payment card, Apply Pay or Google Pay
- Details of the vehicle
- Proof of vehicle ownership (V5C)
Apply for a suburban car park season ticket
Please allow five working days for the season ticket to be posted to you. If you need it sooner than this, you can still complete application online. Once you have submitted and paid for your application, you will to need visit Gateway on the same day to collect your ticket. Please have your application reference number or receipt to hand when you visit.
If you are not able to collect on the same day but do not wish us to post the season ticket, please call the Parking team to let us know and we will hold onto the season ticket until you are ready to collect it.
An administration charge will be made to replace a lost or damaged season ticket. No refunds will be offered on season tickets.
WARNING: Misuse of a season ticket is fraud. We will investigate all reports of the misuse of permits.
Section 115 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act, 1984
Provides penalties for any person who makes a false statement to obtain a season ticket or with intent to deceive, forges, or alters, or uses, or lends to, or allows to be used, or has in their possession any document so closely resembling any such season ticket as to be calculated to deceive.
