There are a few ways of getting equipment to help with sight or hearing loss:
- You can get some equipment with a referral from your GP
- Our directory lists organisations that can provide sensory equipment for sight loss and hearing loss
- Southampton Sight is a local charity for sight loss which has an equipment and resource centre
- RNID is a national hearing loss charity that can offer support and advice
- You can request an assessment from adult social care for us to look at what equipment you might benefit from
- Deaf Action can help with specialist hearing equipment
