Ross - Neurodiverse Family Engagement Practitioner

With over 20 years of experience supporting young people, I specialise in working with those aged 12-19, particularly those who struggle to engage in mainstream education. I have created and led award-winning youth projects that use music as a way to foster environments where they can express their thoughts and feelings without judgment. My work spans multiple settings, including Mainstream, Alternative Provision, home-based, and Residential Care.

I have developed a holistic approach focusing on the educational and emotional support necessary for overcoming barriers to social and educational fulfilment. Building  relationships grounded in trust and openness serves as the basis for creating plans that support young people in developing intrinsic motivation and achieving their potential.

Not many people know: I have piloted a stunt biplane performing aerobatic manoeuvres over the beaches of New Zealand.
