Southampton City Council is proud to announce the new Assistive Technology Innovation Partnership with Microlink PC UK Ltd, a leading Southampton-based organisation renowned for its work in inclusive practice and assistive technology (AT).

This collaboration is rooted in the shared ambition of the Southampton Inclusion Charter and aims to unlock the potential of every child in the city. By combining Microlink’s national expertise with the council’s local commitment to inclusion, the partnership aims to support education settings in transforming outcomes for children and young people.

Overview

Microlink PC UK Ltd specialises in helping businesses to support employees with disabilities, long term illnesses or recovering from injury to succeed in the workplace. Over the past 30 years nearly 500,000 individuals have been supported.

Microlink is now working with over 600 school communities across the country to transform inclusive practice, bringing our extensive knowledge and experience into the education sector. Being a Southampton-based business, we are delighted to announce an Innovation Partnership, aligned to the Southampton Inclusion Charter, with the ambition and intent to unlock the potential of every Southampton Child.

In 2025-26, we will be offering free access to a wide range of training opportunities and resources for every Southampton Primary and Secondary School and College:
