Core Strategy Partial Review

The Core Strategy Partial Review updates part of the adopted Core Strategy. The Review is being prepared in parallel with the City Centre Action Plan.

Following a realistic assessment of which developments are likely to be completed by 2026, a Partial Review was proposed to reduce the target for new office floorspace across the city. Further amendments were made to reduce the target for new retail floorspace. The Core Strategy Partial Review also includes a presumption in favour of sustainable development.
