Statement regarding working with the Building Safety Regulator 2023-24

BSR Single Hourly Rate 2023-24

The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) will become the Building Control Authority for high risk buildings from 1 October 2023.

Southampton and Eastleigh Building Control Partnership will support the BSR in determining compliance with building regulations utilising the following single hourly rate: £76.95.

This rate will be kept under review and has been calculated to achieve full cost recovery. The rate is approved by Southampton City Council’s Section 151 officer.
