Old Woolston and St. Anne's Road conservation areas
The council commissioned a conservation area appraisal of the five existing conservation areas in Woolston Ward - Old Woolston 1, 2, 3 and 4 and St. Anne’s Road. The appraisal recommended boundary changes in the Old Woolston 1, 2, 3 and St Anne’s Road conservation areas, and that Article 4 directions be applied to some properties. Following a period of public consultation, the boundary changes have been approved by Southampton City Council's Cabinet and came into force on 1 August 2010. The Article 4 directions were not approved so do not apply to any properties in this conservation area.
