Redbridge Wharf
An often-overlooked waterside park on the most westerly point of Southampton. It is hidden away over a railway bridge next to Redbridge station. Some areas are managed for wildlife and some is close mown with a pump track for BMX cycles, a rain shelter, a zip wire, and climbing frame. In addition it has a waterside promenade offering views across the tidal reaches of the River Test.
Also the 2024/25 addition of a pocket park on the station side of the tracks which will be an enclosed space with a macadam path from the station approach and Tate Road, which will be planted for wildlife, especially butterflies.
