New Leader and Cabinet updates announced for Southampton City Council

At an Extraordinary Council Meeting today (Wednesday 3 January 2024), a new Leader of Southampton City Council, Councillor Lorna Fielker, took office following the resignation of Councillor Satvir Kaur in December and updates to the cabinet were announced

Councillor Lorna Fielker was elected by full Council as Leader after previously holding the role of Deputy Leader.

• Cabinet Member for Adults, Housing & Health – Councillor Marie Finn
• Cabinet Member for Environment & Transport – Councillor Eamonn Keogh
