Happy New Year. New Year, New You. Read our expert advice on wellbeing and money matters, plus how you can influence the Housing service

A new year message from Jamie Brenchley, Director of Housing

On behalf of Councillor Frampton, Cabinet Member for Housing Operations, and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Tenants’ Link readers a very happy and peaceful new year.

Looking ahead to 2025, we will continue to strive to make continuous improvements to the housing service you receive, and I would urge you all to get involved and work with us in the year ahead. From completing the new year Tenant Satisfaction Survey or joining one of our panels, there are lots of ways for you to make your voice heard. I promise you that we are listening.

Look out for the survey

If you’re one of the 1600 people selected to receive a call or email inviting you to participate in our Tenant Satisfaction survey, please do take the time to respond. Your views are invaluable in helping us to make important improvements.

Struggling to cope this festive season?

If you’re facing the new year on your own, why not pop into one of the city’s Warm Welcome spaces in local libraries, where you can join in free activities, meet other people, and enjoy a friendly welcome.

View the full list of Warm Welcome activities, which are open to all with no pre-booking, and include a free hot drink and snack.

Stay safe this new year

We do all we can to keep you safe, and have created new fire safety webpages packed with information from fire doors to sprinkler systems, specific advice, on the type of block you live in, and answers to common safety questions.

Check out our next issue to find out more.
