Neighbourhood Wardens
The Neighbourhood Wardens deal specifically with housing services and resolve a wide range of neighbourhood issues.
They work closely with housing officers, Open Spaces, and other departments to maintain and improve housing areas, including the communal areas in blocks of flats.
They will need your help, and with that support they can improve the appearance of public areas, help reduce crime and build a better community.

We also have a cleaning team who carry out regular visits and respond to urgent cleaning requirements.
You can contact your Neighbourhood Warden by speaking to them when they are out and about on your estate or by emailing them at your mytenancy@southampton.gov.uk
All wardens carry Southampton City Council identification cards and wear distinctive uniforms (‘red tops’). You will see them out and about where you live. Their vans are also clearly marked with information that will help you contact them.
