Upcoming surveys are your chance to help us make changes
Both surveys are being conducted on our behalf by a market research company called Acuity.
The first is the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSM) survey which will commence in early summer. A cross section of around 1,500 tenants will be selected to receive a phone call or email from Acuity asking what you think of your home and neighbourhood, and the housing services we provide. If you are one of those selected, please take the time to respond as your views are invaluable in helping us to make important improvements. This used to be an annual survey but will now take place four times a year so that we can better track and respond to your feedback. You can see the results of the regular TSM surveys online so you can check how well we are doing and where improvements are needed.
The second survey will start in June, when Acuity will be contacting every household to complete a household survey. This is a vital exercise to gather up-to-date information about our tenants so that we can ensure we deliver the right services and plan effectively for the future.
We appreciate that household circumstances change over time, and you may not have had a chance to update us. So, we are asking everyone to complete the household survey this summer to ensure we hold up-to-date, accurate information about everyone living in a council property.
This will help us to better understand how we can provide appropriate services relevant to your needs. For example, we want to find out if you face any obstacles in accessing the housing service: Do you need us to provide information in another language or format? Do you struggle with using digital technology or do you prefer going online to do things like reporting repairs or paying your rent? Do you want to get more involved but don’t have the time to attend regular board meetings?
Your feedback will help us to develop a better, more inclusive and accessible service for everyone.
All the information you provide is confidential, and whilst we encourage everyone to complete the survey in full, if you would rather not answer certain questions you can select the ‘prefer not to say’ option.
You will be contacted by text and/or email giving you instructions on how to complete this important survey online. If you do not complete a digital survey, we can send a paper copy in the post with a prepaid envelope. Acuity will also be telephoning households to offer support with completing the survey.
We will report back in Tenants Link later in the year with details of how we plan to respond to your feedback and improve the housing service as a result of both surveys.
