Southampton City Council is looking for tenants and leaseholders to join its new Tenant Insight Panel.
This independent group that will help shape and improve housing services.
This is your chance to influence how the council delivers housing services
The role of the panel is to ensure the voices of tenants and leaseholders are central to how the council delivers and improves its housing services. Tenant Insight Panel members:
- Scrutinize services
- Contribute to policy development
- Ensure that housing services meet the standards expected
The meetings will be held monthly or every six weeks, in line with the council’s governance calendar.
Ongoing training and development will be offered to help members fulfil their role effectively. Applications to join are open to tenants and leaseholders.
Applicants will be asked to complete a short application form. This will be followed by an informal discussion with the Chair and the Director of Housing.

- Closing date: Friday 5 September 2025
- Interviews: Monday 22 September 2025
- First meeting of the Panel: Monday 20 October 2025
