Squirrel’s Corner Memorial Plaques are situated in the woodland area of the gardens of rest at Southampton Crematorium. This memorial, crafted with a beautiful squirrel sitting on top of a 50 tablet barbican, reflects the natural inhabitants of this woodland site and offers the opportunity for the display of inscribed plaques.
Each 7” x 5” plaque can be dedicated for a period of 5, 10 or 20 years after which they can be renewed for a further period.
Designing your memorial
The following information will provide you with guidance when completing the memorial application form to ensure that your inscription will fit onto the plaque.
- Each line on the plaque can accommodate up to 23 characters and/or spaces with the exception of line three and four which can only accommodate 15 characters and/or spaces. The blacked out boxes indicate where the plaque mounting screws are located.
- There is a woodland theme design included on each plaque such as a hedgehog, butterflies, squirrel, doves or acorns if desired.
- Please remember to include spaces when completing the application form.
- Before the plaque is made a proof will be produced for you to approve.
Application form
The form can be filled in and returned by email or printed off and sent by post. On receipt of the form a member of the team will contact you to discuss your requirements.
