Partnerships

Southampton City Council work in collaboration with other organisations in Southampton via these main partnerships:

• Health and Wellbeing Board
• Local Safeguarding Adults Board
• Local Safeguarding Children Board
• Safe City Partnership

These partnerships bring together the private, public, community and voluntary sectors to improve the quality of life for all those who live, work and visit the city. 

Besides participating in these partnerships, the council also work at a sub-regional level through the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH) and the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (Solent LEP).

In addition, we have also entered into a number of formal contractual partnerships such as the Strategic Services Partnership with Balfour Beatty and South Coast Street Lighting; a private finance initiative with Hampshire and West Sussex county councils. 

The work of the Partnership is informed by developing national and local policy, current performance data, future needs and the views of our residents and stakeholders in the city.
