Consultation on the establishment of a resourced provision at Redbridge Community School

Redbridge Community School want to start a resourced provision (RP). Southampton City Council asked Redbridge School to do this.

The RP will support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who have an education, health, and care plan (EHCP). Some of these pupils need support with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH). Other pupils need support with autism spectrum conditions (ASC) with emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). Some pupils have both SEMH and ASC with EBSA.

Redbridge Community School also wishes to alter an existing resourced provision that supports deaf pupils. The want to increase the spaces gradually, resulting in 14 spaces available by September 2028.
