Childcare support for Universal Credit Claimants

If you receive Universal Credit you could receive help with childcare costs. This includes nurseries, pre-schools, after-school clubs, breakfast clubs, childminders, nannies and holiday clubs.

You can claim up to 85% of your childcare costs back if you receive Universal Credit

• £1,014.63 for one child
• £1,739.37 for two or more children

If you cannot pay the childcare costs upfront, you might be able to get help with costs by contacting Universal Credit or through your local Job Centre.
