What should I do if I am worried about a child?

If there are worries for a child and you believe a child and their family would benefit from some additional support through Children’s Services, it is important to take action. Contact the Children’s Resource Service on 023 8083 3004 if you are member of the public, professionals can reach us on 023 8083 2300.

Make a referral to child protection & safeguarding

When it’s not an emergency situation but you are worried or feel that the child and their family would benefit from support, you can make a referral to us. You can do this whether you are a member of the public or a professional.
