Bumps and Babies group
Our city-wide Bumps and Babies group is for pregnant families and babies who are not crawling. The group will offer you a chance to come and play with your child in a safe environment. There will be lots of fun activities including water play, hand painting, puppets, treasure baskets, baby massage as well as information and guidance on how to support your child’s development. Health practitioners will also be available to answer questions about topics such as:
- Sleep
- Weaning
- Teeth cleaning
- Immunisations
- Breastfeeding
Throughout the term, there will be sessions where baby self-weighing is available. Please check the schedule below for the full list of sessions.

From Thursday 24 July, the monthly baby self-weighing session in Family Hub Bumps and Babies groups will no longer be available. Parents and carers who would like to have their baby weighed can book an appointment by contacting the Health Visiting team on 0300 123 6661.
