A nine-week programme for parents or carers of children aged between 2-11 years.

Supporting parents to learn practical communication skills to enable our children to be confident, happy, and co-operative. This is for one parent or carer only.

Being a Parent Together

Four-weekly workshops for parents or carers who co-parent their children, aged 2-11 years, whether living together or apart.

Parents want the best for their children and sometimes it can be hard to agree about how to do this.

This is for both parents or carers to explore parenting strategies together.

Being a Parent Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

A 10-week programme for parents or carers of children living with autism.

The programme includes topics such as social skills, communication, coping with change, discipline strategies, autism myth-busting, and much more.

Parents and carers will also have the opportunity to meet other caregivers of children with autism to discuss advice and support.

This is a nine-week course for parents and carers of young people aged 11-16 years.

Bring up happy and self-confident young people.

The course content includes:

• Parental wellbeing
• Listening and communication
• Expressing and acknowledging feelings
• Discipline and much more!

Two, two-hour workshops for parents and carers of children aged two or older.

Both workshops must be attended.

When it comes to developing an understanding of why our children behave the way they do it can be unclear. This workshop aims to empower parents to understand behaviours and feel motivated to respond in a more positive way.

A five-week course for parents and carers with babies from birth to pre-crawling.

Classes are facilitated by an International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) Infant Massage Instructor.

You will learn how simple strokes may help your baby with wind or constipation, how important your touch is in supporting the bonding process, and your baby’s emotional development.

Six-week course for parents and carers with children aged 3-12 years old

The New Forest Parenting Programme supports parents and carers to learn about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), understand behaviour and how it may affect their child. There is also an opportunity to meet other carers of children with ADHD.

A six-week health and nutrition cooking course for parents and carers with children one year old or older.

The course will provide useful tips for producing healthy, home-cooked family meals on a budget, and gives the opportunity to try cooking different dishes.

An 11-week programme for parents and carers.

This course offers parent and careers the opportunity to participate in a training programme enabling them to facilitate parenting programmes within the community on a voluntary basis.

Successful applicants will receive certification from Empowering Parents Empowering Communities (EPEC) and an AQA accreditation.
