Register a food business
Registration is necessary for most types of food business, including catering businesses run from home and mobile or temporary premises (such as stalls and vans).
If you are setting up a new food business, or taking over an existing premises in Southampton you need to register with us at least 28 days before starting to operate. If you have multiple premises they must all be registered.
Registering is free of charge. Once registered, you will need to notify us if there is a change of ownership or alteration to the nature of the business.
