What does the Valuations and Estates team do?

The Valuation and Estates (V&E) team is responsible for managing the council's investment and operational property portfolio which has an annual rent toll of £7.6m. The portfolio consists of just under 2,000 various assets including retail, industrial properties, properties in community use, electricity substations, rights of way, easements and wayleaves.

The team comprise RICS property professionals and programme support who provide advice to all areas of the Council on matters relating to our property interests.
