Type of container

This depends upon the needs of your business. We offer a range of sizes and quantities of bins. Our bins will be supplied as part of the agreement with no additional hire charge, and they will be replaced if damage is caused due to wear and tear.

Frequency of collection

Waste containers are collected between Monday and Friday. The container needs to be available from 6.30am on the day of collection. You will be informed of your collection day(s) following our receipt of the signed agreement, which will be sent to you once you agree to and submit this quote.

Businesses and street cleaning

Local businesses are an important part of the community. You can support a clean environment by making sure your waste is stored safely and securely. Under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, all businesses have a duty of care for the disposal of all their recyclable materials and commercial waste.

Business rates do not cover businesses for any recycling or waste collections and businesses are responsible for the management of all the waste they produce. If you have not got a trade waste contract in place to dispose of your waste, you can organise collections with our commercial waste team. Alternatively, you can use a reputable contractor.

Please also ensure bin sizes and collection frequencies are sufficient. This will help avoid over-spilling or side waste, which can easily generate more street litter.
