Lost, damaged or stray bins
Properties in Southampton with storage for bins should have a:
- Green-top general waste bin
- Blue-top recycling bin
- Black/grey glass box
Properties without storage for bins will be given rolls of sacks instead (these are delivered twice a year). You can request waste sacks from us.
If you believe your bin is missing, before reporting this to us please check:
- Whether your bin has been moved away from your normal collection point
- If your bin has been accidentally claimed by one of your neighbours
- The surrounding areas carefully in case your bin has been returned to the wrong property
